Designed to inspire and encourage culinary creativity, the classes are hands on and run monthly or on group request.

At I Maccheroni, we are passionate about what we do and we want to share this passion with those eager to learn.

Our cooking class workshop is based in our Italian Restaurant in Rose Bay, Sydney.

Here are some of the skills you will learn in our cooking classes:

  • Prepare the pasta dough and the sauces (napoli, carbonara, cacio e pepe, pesto, amatriciana, funghi, just to name a few).
  • Fashion simple pasta (tagliatelle, spaghetti, pappardelle/angel hair) or filled pasta (ravioli, tortellini, agnolotti, cappellaci).
  • Prepare pasta fillings (from your choice of ricotta & pesto, scallops, ricotta & crab, pork, veal & potato, thyme and parmesan, broccoli, and chilli & garlic).
  • Make Gluten Free Gnocchi
  • Roast and Braise meats
  • Make desserts from favourite Italian biscuits to the more complex desserts (Zuppa Inglese, Tiramisu’, Crostata, Torta di mia Nonna, Semifreddo, Chocolate fondant).
